The history of this particular 993 is truly remarkable, making it a car of significant interest to collectors. Built in 1993 and belonging to the very earliest production run of the new 993 generation, this German-market car carries the VIN sequence number RS310150 – the 150th chassis in the production sequence. Its original factory option sticker reveals an exceptionally unusual specification. In addition to its extensive equipment, it features code 09991, associated with the Porsche Exclusive / Sonderwunsch Programme, code 09971, as well as a rare sequence of five-digit special-order codes. Particularly significant is option code 740 – "AUSSTELLUNGSFAHRZEUG", identifying the car as an EXHIBITION / DISPLAY VEHICLE, a designation associated with cars prepared by Porsche for presentation and display purposes. First registered in Germany as early as 2 November 1993, right at the beginning of the commercial launch of the 993 generation, the car remained in Germany until 1998, when it was imported into Italy by the president of a well-known Italian Porsche Club. After passing through the hands of two further owners, the car was placed into storage in 2016, where it remained unused for approximately ten years. Rediscovered by BRALOG GARAGE in 2026, it underwent an extensive professional restoration with the aim of preserving its original specification, identity and history.
